7-4-73 PATERSON NEW JERSEY

From my parent’s front porch we could see, from years past, the sky fireworks from the City of Paterson a few miles away. The family gathered around while waiting for the sun to set, we casually noticed a bright Venus-like object slowly rise over the horizon and appearing to move towards us and appeared to grow somewhat larger as it approached. After awhile, it appeared to have stopped dead in the sky in our clear view (I would estimate at about a 15 to 20 degree angle from our vantage point). My older uncle was insisting that the object was “shivering”, but being younger and more contrary at the time, I insisted that it was due to the atmosphere. As the darkness set, the fireworks started. After about 45 minutes to an hour, the display ended and we continued to sit on the porch. We then noticed that the object appeared to be floating away, back in the return direction from which it came. Now sensing that this was no ordinary object, I ran inside to get my 35mm still camera with telephoto lens. By this time it was night, and even with bracing the camera on top of one of our cars, the best photo result was a pin point. I estimate that from the time we first noticed the light, and the the time it finally disappeared, was probably about two hours.

I was sitting on a porch looking south and noticed an object flying above and close to a commercial jet airplane heading northeast, the witness stated. This immediately drew my attention. I am a private pilot and never have seen anything fly so close to a commercial plane. I thought it might be a military aircraft, but it was disc shaped and left no contrail like the commercial jet. The sky was mostly sunny with a few high clouds and the commercial jet contrail was very visible.

I stood up to get a closer view and called over two of my relatives also on the porch to look. They both saw the object. We watched the object hover above the airplane, then ascend at about a 70 degree angle out of view.

After we all drew pictures of what we saw and talked about it to the relatives that weren’t on the porch (each taking a turn to describe it). The consensus was that the object was a disc and very shiny either white or metallic (the white plane looked dull in comparison); the disc flew tipped slightly on one end; the disc maintained a consistent speed and altitude above the airliner for at least 20 seconds; the disc then ascended at about a 70 degree incline and appeared to rise faster than the speed it traveled over the airliner; the disc didn’t leave a contrail either over the airliner or when it accelerated as it was rising.

We tried to think of all explanations for what the object could have been: a weather balloon, a military jet, etc. and could find nothing that fits.

The underside of the triangle was lit up with lights…..

WOODSTOWN On June 4, 2009, witness was coming home from her hair dresser traveling on Route 40 east towards Pole Tavern and noticed a strange black triangle in the sky at 9 PM. She pulled to the side of the road to see it better as it hovered over the tree line a short distance from her car. She noticed the object from the driver’s side of the car with the window down. There was no noise or movement. It just hovered there. The underside of the triangle was lit up with lights that were bright but not blinding as shown in the drawing. She could not tell if the middle of the triangle was filled in or not.

TURNERSVILLE I was outside on my porch at 11 PM, on June 10, 2009, and saw a bright flash of light in the SE that caught my eye. I stood there looking for the source. I then saw a lime green point of light pulse in the sky. I watched for another minute trying to make out what was making the light because it was overcast. I saw a faint dark red object moving in the clouds where the yellow green light appeared. I was not scared. These things used to scare me but now I am used to it. MUFON

ERIAL About 12:30 PM, on June 7, 2009, I was standing by the driver’s side door of my Ford Explorer and was looking up into the sky when I observed a long black object in the break of the clouds. It resembled a cigar shape, but I didn’t recognize it as anything I had seen before. The object was traveling north between Philadelphia, PA and the Blackhorse Pike in Turnersville, New Jersey at 10 miles per hour and at a 15 degree angle. I observed the object for a minute when it disappeared suddenly. The were no planes in the air at this time. Thanks to MUFON CMS
