WEIRD WHITE ORB SEEN OVER THE VILLAS IN NEW JERSEY

It was a beautiful sunny day around 5:00 PM. After work I would take my Louisville Slugger to the bay to hit rocks out into water, watch the sunset, and blow off a long work day. I was watching where my rock would splash down when a ball of light, very bright white, like a welders arc flashed up and out from the water on a thirty degree angle, traveled at least a 1/2 mile or more, wavered for a split second like a wobble, shot back the direction it came from, then back up again on a 55 degree angle traveling two to three times the distance. Two more shorter bursts in two different directions then shot out of site at about a 75 degree angle heading SSW. I think this all took about two to three seconds, never seen anything move that fast. My best guess is that it was around five miles out or more in the Delaware Bay the distances where probably alot more then what they appeared to me. The shape if anything was round and white hot. I stood there in disbelief. I looked down both sides of the beach looking to see if anyone else was there, just me. I didn’ know what to think. When I tried explaining what I had seen to my friends a joke was made. One of my smarter friends told me it was ball lightning. I thought it was ball lightning after all was said, I had never seen ball lightning and it fit. The need to tell anyone else of this event was put on the shelf 27 years ago. 2008- My children where flicking through the channels six months or so ago and one of the UFO programs was on, some of the details sounded very familiar to that day 27 years ago. I started investigating ball lightning on the internet and realized that no way was this ball lightning. This realization has led me to this point, one of knowing that what I had witnessed was maybe a once in a life time event.

STRANGE CRAFT WITNESSED OVER ELMWOOD NEW JERSEY

9-5-09 ELMWOOD, SOUTH NEW JERSEY AREA

I was driving alone from Ocean City, NJ heading west on the Atlantic City Expressway towards Philadelphia and was about 5 miles west of the Egg Harbor Toll Plaza. It was about 10:40 on the morning of Saturday, September 5 and it was a beautiful sunny day with a mostly cloudless clear blue sky. At about a 45 degree angle in the sky directly in front of me (looking west) I observed a small, flat-white object, shaped like a little tophat, appear out of nowhere in the sky. It descended in an erractic flight pattern for a couple of seconds then disappeared. A couple seconds later, it reappeared as before, descended in the sky in the same erractic manner for a couple seconds, then disappeared for good. I watched the local news that evening to see if there was any coverage of strange UFO-like sightings, but there was none. I tried to contact the astronomer at the Franklin Institute to discuss with him, but couldn’t find a listing of his email address. I told my wife of this event and she later happened upon your website from something she had seen in the paper about an upcoming convention. What did I think the object was when I first noticed it? I don’t know, but I sure couldn’t identify it. I had seen something like this about 40 years ago when I was about 13 or 14.

This case was investigated by our N.J. MUFON investigator Joe Di Eduardo. Object was classified as an unknown.

STRANGE CRAFT OVER PARLIN NEW JERSEY

APRIL 1985 PARLIN NEW JERSEY

I am reporting an event that occured about 25 years ago but I am now comfortable reporting it to competent persons working in this investigative field. I have difficulty believing that I actually witnessed this event and I have not heard of any other reports describing exactly what I had seen. I recall this occurred in early spring during mid-evening hours as the sun was almost fully set. I was living in my mother’s home at that time. I was sitting outside in the open carport. I first noticed a bright light shining through the tree in the front yard. I assumed it was probably some conventional aircraft with a spotlight. As the light emerged from behind the tree I saw an aircraft the likes I never had seen before. The main body of the craft was shaped like a five-pointed star. The light I first saw seemed to eminate from the star casting a very bright white or pale yellow light. On the lower right point was a sphere. Initially the sphere swirled with a rainbow of colors. The craft seemed to drift slowly and was probably not more than about 1000 feet above the rooftops. As the craft reached a position directly across from me over the rooftop of the house across the street it stopped abruptly. The sphere then began to glow a deep red color. The craft then took off at an incredible speed at about a 45 degree angle still travelling on its northerly direction. The craft eventually reached an altitude at which it was no longer visible. Through the entire event there was no sound coming from the craft. As I said before, I have difficulty believing I saw this. I would doubt there are any witnesses as I was home alone and I did not notice any of the neighbors outdoors. During the sighting I was in awe of the craft and I couldn’t take my eyes away. I have never heard any other reports describing exactly what I describe and it makes me wonder what this really was.

4TH OF JULY UFO OVER PATERSON NEW JERSEY

From my parent’s front porch we could see, from years past, the sky fireworks from the City of Paterson a few miles away. The family gathered around while waiting for the sun to set, we casually noticed a bright Venus-like object slowly rise over the horizon and appearing to move towards us and appeared to grow somewhat larger as it approached. After awhile, it appeared to have stopped dead in the sky in our clear view (I would estimate at about a 15 to 20 degree angle from our vantage point). My older uncle was insisting that the object was “shivering”, but being younger and more contrary at the time, I insisted that it was due to the atmosphere. As the darkness set, the fireworks started. After about 45 minutes to an hour, the display ended and we continued to sit on the porch. We then noticed that the object appeared to be floating away, back in the return direction from which it came. Now sensing that this was no ordinary object, I ran inside to get my 35mm still camera with telephoto lens. By this time it was night, and even with bracing the camera on top of one of our cars, the best photo result was a pin point. I estimate that from the time we first noticed the light, and the the time it finally disappeared, was probably about two hours.

UFO STALKS COMMERCIAL JET OVER SANDY LAKE PENNSYLVANIA

I was sitting on a porch looking south and noticed an object flying above and close to a commercial jet airplane heading northeast, the witness stated. This immediately drew my attention. I am a private pilot and never have seen anything fly so close to a commercial plane. I thought it might be a military aircraft, but it was disc shaped and left no contrail like the commercial jet. The sky was mostly sunny with a few high clouds and the commercial jet contrail was very visible.

I stood up to get a closer view and called over two of my relatives also on the porch to look. They both saw the object. We watched the object hover above the airplane, then ascend at about a 70 degree angle out of view.

After we all drew pictures of what we saw and talked about it to the relatives that weren’t on the porch (each taking a turn to describe it). The consensus was that the object was a disc and very shiny either white or metallic (the white plane looked dull in comparison); the disc flew tipped slightly on one end; the disc maintained a consistent speed and altitude above the airliner for at least 20 seconds; the disc then ascended at about a 70 degree incline and appeared to rise faster than the speed it traveled over the airliner; the disc didn’t leave a contrail either over the airliner or when it accelerated as it was rising.

We tried to think of all explanations for what the object could have been: a weather balloon, a military jet, etc. and could find nothing that fits.

V Shaped Triangle UFO Cruises Over Woodstown N.J.

The underside of the triangle was lit up with lights…..

WOODSTOWN On June 4, 2009, witness was coming home from her hair dresser traveling on Route 40 east towards Pole Tavern and noticed a strange black triangle in the sky at 9 PM. She pulled to the side of the road to see it better as it hovered over the tree line a short distance from her car. She noticed the object from the driver’s side of the car with the window down. There was no noise or movement. It just hovered there. The underside of the triangle was lit up with lights that were bright but not blinding as shown in the drawing. She could not tell if the middle of the triangle was filled in or not.

TURNERSVILLE I was outside on my porch at 11 PM, on June 10, 2009, and saw a bright flash of light in the SE that caught my eye. I stood there looking for the source. I then saw a lime green point of light pulse in the sky. I watched for another minute trying to make out what was making the light because it was overcast. I saw a faint dark red object moving in the clouds where the yellow green light appeared. I was not scared. These things used to scare me but now I am used to it. MUFON

ERIAL About 12:30 PM, on June 7, 2009, I was standing by the driver’s side door of my Ford Explorer and was looking up into the sky when I observed a long black object in the break of the clouds. It resembled a cigar shape, but I didn’t recognize it as anything I had seen before. The object was traveling north between Philadelphia, PA and the Blackhorse Pike in Turnersville, New Jersey at 10 miles per hour and at a 15 degree angle. I observed the object for a minute when it disappeared suddenly. The were no planes in the air at this time. Thanks to MUFON CMS
