MYSTERIOUS BRIGHT OBJECT OVER TRENTON NEW JERSEY

On Saturday night, May 15, 2010, at approximately 8:30 p.m., I was putting something in the trunk of my car. As I headed back into my house, I noticed an extremely bright light in the sky behind my house. I was immediately struck by the brightness of the object because it had just turned dark. I observed it for a moment or two, wondering if it was a planet. When I realized that there were no other stars in the sky yet, I became more intrigued. I therefore decided to observe it longer. 5 minutes turned into 10 minutes, and I called my husband outside to ask him what he thought it was. He first thought it was a planet or the “north star,” but as he observed it longer, he thought it was “a little strange.” The light was not moving and made absolutely no sound. After approximately 10 minutes, my husband decided to go back into the house. I, however, remained transfixed, and continued my observation for approximately 30-40 minutes longer before I decided to go back into my house to get my camera. At approximately 9:15-20 p.m., I took photos of the light. During the entire 40-45 minutes of my constant observation of this light, it remained in relatively the same spot in the sky. [It is important to note that we live less than one mile away from the Mercer County Airport and literally see planes landing on the runway (running west to east) through the trees in our backyard. This light, however, was directly north, and during my observation of this light, continued to see planes fly in front of it.] As I began to take pictures of the light (which visually remained static) I noticed that when I found it in my camera viewfinder the object appeared to be MOVING very rapidly and quickly in a haphazard way. When I moved my eyes away from the camera to observe the light, it appeared perfectly still to my eyes! I took 8 pictures of the light on May 15th. After I took my 8 pictures, the light simply disappeared. During my observation of the light, I was not frightened, simply intrigued and highly curious about what I was observing. It is also important to note that I was seeking some confirmation that it might be an airplane flying south, however, at no time did I observe flashing beacon lights. The light appeared again in the same relative spot in the sky on Sunday, June 6th, 2010 at approximately 8:00 p.m. My husband and I were returning home and I noticed the same very bright light as I got out of our car. It was earlier than the previous 5/15/10 sighting, and the sky was somewhat lighter. Again, there were no other observable stars yet in the sky, thereby highlighting the intensity and oddness of this particular light. I immediately retrieved my camera and took 7 pictures of the light. I observed the light intermittently (i.e., I kept coming outside from the house to check on it rather than strictly observing it as I did on 5/15) for approximately 40 to 50 minutes. Just as in the first sighting, the light remained static (to my eye) and remained in the same relative position in the sky. The final time I checked, it was gone (approximately 9:00 p.m. or so.) Since my two sightings of this intense light (and subsequent review of my pictures), I am HIGHLY curious about it and am hoping that someone can explain what it is to me. I now find myself looking for the light every night, but have not seen it since the 6/6/10 sighting.

STRANGE CRAFT OVER STATEN ISLAND NEW YORK

My friends and I were walking on New Dorp Beach, in Staten Island, New York, (one of the five boroughs), and we looked up to stargaze, and instead see strange lights in a clear night sky.

The pattern of lights was consistent with a tail light (color purpleish), two wing lights (a strange white color), and a center light (red to green).

What was most frightening to us was the sound – or rather lack of any. The bottom was black and sleek, almost as if it were an SR-71 blackbird, although current technology does not allow for flight ascending directly upwards and downwards, and does not allow for sudden, almost sonic speeds.

It seemed to slow as it was above us, the lights in the front became three white headlights, and it was followed by an obviously American military jet.

This craft has been spotted in many different areas on Staten Island. It’s one thing to run a military test run, but it’s completely another to see a military jet actually chasing an unknown craft.

I haven’t the slightest clue whether it was of a terrestrial or extraterrestrial nature, but quite frankly it’s been seen quite often. It was both wondrous and frightening, we were all mesmerized.

We lost sight of the craft after it sped away in a curious diagonal pattern. I apologize for lack of any photographs, we figured that if it were military, the last thing college students want is to be investigated due to photos of military craft.

STRANGE UFO OVER TENNESSEE

5-24-10… South of Arnold Air Force Base – Tullahoma, Tennessee

My son was on break and shot these photographs with his camera phone. The location is just south of Arnold Air Force Base in Tullahoma, Tennessee.

Let me know what you think. I looked at them on Windows Photo Gallery in different contrast and brightness modes, and they are pretty weird.

Evidently there were several people who got photos. The time was after midnight, and I think the three photos you have were taken within a time period of about three minutes.

(Editor’s Note: A couple of days later, I received an email from Ian, who took the photos shown below.)

Hello this is Ian, the guy who took the photos in Tennessee. My dad emailed you the three photos I took.The date was May 24th and the time was 1:30 to 1:35 AM.

The reason I started taking the photos is because we thought it was a plane crash until it got close enough to know it wasn’t.

I walked my kids to the bus stop this morning and took several pictures along the way, the witness responded. I got home and downloaded them right after and noticed two pictures with something odd in the background. I zoomed in and noticed a triangle shaped UFO in the distance. I didn’t see them when I took the pictures with my digital camera. AIRCRAFT CARRIER AND UFO

Aboard the Aircraft Carrier USS Abraham Lincoln, lightning filled the horizon and lit up the flight deck and the military aircraft on the ship’s forward elevator and bow. I could not help but notice after reviewing the photos of the night, the witness stated. What was in the clouds and possibly emitting the lightning ? DESTIN FLORIDA’S UFO

My wife and I was at the local restaurant last Friday the 13th and she took some pictures of the sunset at about 5 minute intervals, the witness responded. When we uploaded the photos to our computer, we found unusual globes and square lights. We are surrounded by military bases around here, so I haven’t a clue as to what they are. SAN FRANCISCO’S STRANGE OBJECT

Around 6 pm I was taking pictures of the Embarcadero Center’s Christmas lighting, the witness responded. I was using a tripod and timer for the shots. The first shot captured a blue moon and the second shot was taken 46 seconds later and showed no moon. We never saw the blue moon until we viewed the photos later that evening. PUERTO RICO’S UFO

I was photographing the moon and when I later viewed the photos on my computer, I noticed a very bright object to the right of the moon, the witness stated. It almost looks like a typical flying saucer. I am an Astronomer with three publications in Astronomy Magazine, so I can explain away things like a satellite, helicopter or internal reflection from my camera but I send you this because I honestly do not know what it could be. The camera was a Kodak Z740 Digital camera, set at F/3.6 for 8 seconds and ISO at 100. MORE UFO’S OVER ATLANTIC CITY

8-20-08 The witness attended the annual air show in Atlantic City New Jersey. The Thunderbirds was the main attraction but many pilots performed their aerial stunts all day for the thousands of spectators. The witness remembers seeing a
MUFON case report that mentioned that one of MUFON’s investigators from New Jersey was able to capture a UFO in one of the photos he took at the 2009 air show in Atlantic City, with his digital camera. The witness then went through all her photos she took that day and noticed strange objects in one of her photos. After enlarging the digital photo it became apparent that she did capture something very unusual and possibly extraterrestrial.
