OUR GALACTIC NEIGHBORHOOD HAS ARRIVED

“Now is probably the time to say, yes, we’re part of a galactic neighborhood; unfortunately, we’re not the big shots in the neighborhood. Some UFOs are intelligently controlled extraterrestrial spacecraft, and this is the biggest story of the millennium. After 53 years of investigation, I’m convinced we’re dealing here with a cosmic Watergate,” Stanton Friedman told AOL News. “That means a few people within major governments have known since at least 1947 that some UFOs are alien spacecraft.”

Employed for 14 years as a nuclear physicist for companies like General Electric, General Motors, Westinghouse and Aerojet General Nucleonics, he worked on highly classified programs involving nuclear aircraft, fission and fusion rockets. In 1958, UFOs caught his attention, and Friedman has since lectured about this subject at more than 700 colleges and professional groups in all 50 states and around the world.

X – CONFERENCE IN WASHINGTON D.C SHOWCASES MANY UFOLOGIST

By Jennifer Harper INSIDE THE BELTWAY

MAY 2010

Have extraterrestrials invaded Earth? They certainly have invaded culture, politics and the press. At the National Press Club: a three-day X-Conference set to explore “exopolitics” – the political ramifications of government secrecy about otherwordly events, plus UFOs, aliens, unusual technology and X-PPAC, the Extraterrestrial Phenomena Political Action Committee. Talk radio’s “Coast to Coast” host George Noory was on hand to parse the issues. Invitations to the conference have gone out to the White House and every member of Congress, organizer Stephen Bassett tells Inside the Beltway.

“The X-Conference brings the UFO/ET issue to the government’s doorstep – the researchers, activists, witnesses, documentaries – and asks the same question now being asked around the world, ‘When is the United States government going to end the truth embargo regarding an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race?’ ” he says.

The Pew Research Center has announced that “the debate over aliens was the only news item to receive significant attention on both blogs and Twitter, capturing the imagination of social media users.”

And no wonder. In the past month alone, physicist Stephen Hawking cautioned naive earthlings that dysfunctional aliens wander the planet, while the State Duma has called on Russian President Dmitry Medvedev to check whether Kalmyk leader Kirsan Ilyumzhinov divulged state secrets to aliens whom he claimed to have met in 1997.

Pollsters don’t ignore such things. Harris Polls finds that 36 percent of Americans say they believe in UFOs, while a Rasmussen Reports survey found that 53 percent of American voters said intelligent life exists on other planets – with liberals more inclined to believe this than conservatives, 72 percent to 45 percent.

ALIEN ABDUCTION AT McKEE CITY NEW JERSEY

JULY 20, 1977  McKee City  New Jersey         I was driving with two other people in my car and we were coming home from the store. We saw a enormous red sphere in front of and over our car. The height seemed to be about 500 to 800 feet above us. I stopped the car and looked out the window. Then I got out of the car for a better look. We were in awe at what we saw and transfixed on the spot. At first I thought it was the moon, then I thought maybe it was a hot air balloon or a weather balloon. Then I just didn’t know what I was looking at. It was close. It did not move. The red sphere was stationary in the air, deep red and orange, mostly red and it seemed to have a pulse to it. There was no noise. The surface of it looked smooth but there appeared to be a red haze of slightly transparent red fog around it. It did not seem mechanical. We were on a very dark country road about two miles from home. It was a warm summer night. The sky was clear and I could see the stars far away. The date I wrote is approximate. The sight caused a really terrifying fear in me and I drove home as fast as I could. I drove about half a mile and turned left and the object was gone. My two companions were terrified. When we got home, my friend at the house complained that we had been gone so long. The entire trip felt like it took 20 minutes total, but we had been gone for two hours. There is no way that trip to the store can take two hours. Something happened. I never believed in UFOs, and I am a super skeptic, but I don’t know what we saw that night. I can’t explain what happened. There was nothing in the paper the following day. Nothing was reported on the radio. There were no reports of weather balloons or anything strange. If I had to guess the size of the object, I would say it appeared to be about five times the size of a round city water tower top.

Case is under investigation by MUFON’s field investigator Joe Di Eduardo.
